DeltaTech-Korea(DTK) co-organised Eureka Innovation Week 2016 matchmaking event. 40 Korean SMEs, research institutes, universities participated in the event. The participants had an opportunity to find out more about Eureka joint R&D projects and meet prospective R&D partners from all over the world. The matchmaking event was held on Wednesday, 27th April. Eureka Innovation Week 2016, the whole event lasted for a week from Monday, 25th to Friday, 29th April.
EEN-Korea, DTK together with ed research, co-organised the matchmaking event. DTK supported 21 clients and prepared for their meetings with prospective R&D project partners. For the 21 DTK clients, 107 meetings were previously arranged and 97 meetings were held. DTK actively cooperated with the main organiser ACREO(Swedish ICT research institute) to set up meetings and derive signing agreements among the participants. DTK also worked together with CDTI(Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology, Spain) to arrange additional meetings between Korean and Spanish companies.
MCI, one of the clients of DTK, signed an Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with its Swedish prospective partner Greinon engineering AB during the event. MCI and Greinon is going to cooperate on developing a medical device based on the light emitting diode(LED) technology.
